Chief Systems Engineer
Juliet Homer is a chief systems engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), leading the Energy Policy Team. Her work at PNNL focuses on electric distribution and transmission system planning, utility regulation, and policies that support grid resilience. Juliet also has a background in water engineering and leads a project on realizing benefits at the energy-water nexus. Juliet is a professional engineer with a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Arizona State University. Before coming to PNNL, Juliet worked as a consulting water engineer in the Phoenix area and then as a staff member at the Oregon Public Utility Commission.
