Ben Brenner leads federal policy and outreach for Zanskar Geothermal & Minerals, Inc., a company harnessing artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technology to expand the frontier of American geothermal discovery and power production. At Zanskar, Ben is working to create a public policy framework that can help catalyze an American geothermal boom.

Ben is a seasoned leader in federal affairs with over 15 years of experience navigating the intersection of energy policy, national security, and the federal appropriations process. His career spans the U.S. Senate, the private sector, and the U.S. Department of Energy, where he served under multiple administrations to bridge the gap between technical breakthrough and the complexity of the legislative process. He specializes in building the broad, bipartisan coalitions necessary to accelerate American energy innovation, modernize the power grid, and strengthen domestic supply chains.

A proud Michigander, Ben holds an MPA from Princeton University and a BA from McGill University.
