Divesh Gupta has represented Exelon companies for 20 years, currently as BGE’s Director of Clean Energy Solutions, where his team leads efforts in electrification and efficiency, dynamic load management and VPPs, EVs, storage and other decarbonization and grid management solutions.  Divesh previously build and led BGE’s Utility of the Future Strategy team for BGE’s Path to Clean, Smart City tech, community solar, fiber connectivity and more. He maintains a focus on “how might” BGE drive equitable decarbonization, affordability and energy security in Maryland. 

Prior to BGE, Divesh led Constellation’s Energy Solutions team, pairing clean tech with creative on-bill funding through supply agreements, and worked to drive growth as Chief of Staff for the President of Constellation Retail.  Before joining Constellation’s retail business, he was an Exelon attorney, providing regulatory counsel for competitive generation, wholesale and retail businesses.

Divesh is a member of the Baltimore Museum of Art’s Board of Trustees.  He serves as Treasurer for Bowie State University’s Foundation Board, supporting Maryland’s oldest HBCU, and on the Board for Baltimore’s St. Frances Academy, the nation’s oldest African-American Catholic High School, established in 1828.  Divesh earned his B.A. in Policy and Sociology from Rice University and a J.D. from Duke University.
