As Director of Energy Services at Electrify America, Jigar is responsible for Electrify America’s energy portfolio of roughly 1 GW in energized charging infrastructure, including leveraging energy storage to manage electricity costs, engaging with utilities and wholesale energy markets on policy matters and rate structures, minimizing Electrify America’s energy carbon footprint, and addressing vehicle-grid integration matters. He plays a key role within the company, managing the energy used by over 5,600 Hyper-Fast public and commercial chargers across the United States and Canada. Jigar is also published in IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid (2016), IEEE American Control Conference (2015), and IEEE International Systems Conference (2014).
