LaMont Durr is Manager of OpCo Planning at ITC Holdings Corp. With more than 23 years of experience in transmission planning, most of his career has been dedicated to system assessment activities including a focused cross‑training assignment in system operations. Throughout Mr. Durr’s career, he has played a key role in developing solutions to complex system reliability challenges and has been deeply involved in the coordination and support of the MISO Transmission Expansion Plan (MTEP). His work has also included contributing to the development and implementation of MISO Multi‑Value Projects (MVPs), helping advance large‑scale regional infrastructure initiatives. 

Mr. Durr brings extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on NERC Transmission Planning (TPL) and Facilities (FAC) standards related to system assessments and load interconnections. Drawing on his planning background and operational exposure, he designed and developed a voltage assessment tool that was integrated into the organization’s Transmission Management System (TMS), strengthening operational visibility and decision‑making. 

Mr. Durr holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Business Administration from Wayne State University. He also serves on ITC’s Belonging Council, where he advises executive leadership on the company’s commitment to diversity.
