Michael Caravaggio is the Vice President, Energy Supply, Fleet Reliability at EPRI.

EPRIs Energy Supply Sector conducts research on all aspects of electricity generation for a global group of generating companies. The sector has collaborative R&D programs covering the Thermal, Renewable & Next-Generation Fleet, Fleet Management and Operations, Digitalization, Materials, Thermal Optimization and Emissions Controls, Air Quality & Health, and Water & Land Management.

Caravaggio has held many roles previously at EPRI including Director Thermal & Hydro Fleet, Senior
Program Manager, Major Component Reliability, as well as leading the EPRI Steam and Water Cycle
Chemistry Research area.

Before rejoining EPRI in 2014, Caravaggio ran Integrated Chemistry Solutions Pte. Ltd., a Singapore
based Business Development and Technical Consultancy company serving the Power and Water
industries. Earlier in Caravaggio’s career he held various roles including engineering, supervisory and
management, with Ontario Power Generation, a Canadian based Utility Company.

Caravaggio received a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental (chemical) engineering from the
University of Waterloo (Canada) and a Master of Business Administration (Strategy) from the Nanyang
Business School (Singapore).
