As Senior Vice President of the ACORE Accelerate Initiative and a member of ACORE’s Executive Leadership Team, Constance Thompson leads efforts to accelerate the growth and market entry of small and mid-sized clean energy companies. She is responsible for advancing ACORE’s strategy by leveraging public-private networks, investment pathways, and industry partnerships to expand opportunities for these businesses in the clean energy economy.

With over 20 years of experience in developing and scaling high-impact initiatives, coalitions, and strategic partnerships, Thompson has worked across Fortune 500 companies, Ivy League institutions, and leading manufacturing, scientific, and engineering-focused organizations.

She serves as the 2025 Board Chair of Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), sits on the Boards of Renewables Forward and The Sol-to-Sol Harvest Foundation, and is an Advisory Council member for the Michigan Clean Energy Leadership Program.
