He obtained his Engineering Degree from the ENSEM (Ecole Nationale d’Electricité et de Mécanique) in Nancy (France) in 1990. He works in the field of High Voltage Transmission and Distribution insulation expertise for overhead lines and substations apparatus since more than 30 years. He is currently working as CTO & Chief Technical Expert in SHEMAR Power Engineering. He is also member of several CIGRE B2 (overhead line) & A3 (substation) and IEC standardization working groups (TC36 Insulators & TC112 Insulating materials), as member, and as convenor for IEC TC36 / MT24 (substation composite insulators) group & IEC TC36 Chair.
