Jack Moore is a Senior Director in E3’s Asset Valuation Practice. His work at E3 focuses on electricity transmission planning, market design, and market fundamentals forecasting – examining how changes in policy, technology, and markets affect electricity prices, trading, and operations. He has led multiple studies for utilities and public power agencies using advanced production simulation models to quantify the potential impact of participating in real-time and day-ahead markets in the Western U.S., including the Western Energy Imbalance Market, Extended Day Ahead Market (EDAM), and Markets+. Jack also guides projects focused on identifying the value of electric transmission for providing economic, reliability, and resiliency to power market participants. Jack studied economics (B.A.) and management science and engineering (M.S.) at Stanford University.
