Lane Dilg is Head of Infrastructure Policy & Partnerships at OpenAI, where she leads strategic initiatives within the Stargate Project to secure U.S. leadership in artificial intelligence, accelerate scientific innovation, and generate broad economic growth. With deep expertise in infrastructure, energy policy, and strategic operations, Lane is dedicated to driving collaboration across sectors to advance transformative technologies and societal benefits. Previously, Lane advised senior leadership of the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Economic Council, guiding strategic deployment of public resources to catalyze private investment in domestic energy infrastructure and supply chains. She also served as CEO and chief legal officer for a city globally recognized for its pioneering infrastructure projects. Lane’s strategic advisory experience includes counseling executive leadership at a top-ranked public research university, serving as counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, and prosecuting complex organized crime and human trafficking cases as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Lane holds degrees from Yale Law School, Harvard Divinity School, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar.
