Melanie Frye, President and CEO of WECC, drives the mission to mitigate risks to the Western Interconnection’s Bulk Power System. She fosters strong relationships and collaborates with regulatory bodies, spearheading WECC’s Invented Future framework to transform the organization and cultivate leadership.

Previously, Melanie served as Vice President of Reliability Planning and Performance Analysis and Vice President of Shared Services. She began at WECC in 2007 as Director of Human Resources, following a career at PacifiCorp. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Weber State University and a Utility Executive Course Certificate from the University of Idaho.
