Patrick serves as a technical lead on several projects at DOE, most notably his efforts in the past year coordinating the National Transmission Planning Study.  Prior to joining DOE, Patrick was the Manager of Regional Transmission Planning at FRCC, and he has extensive federal policy and transmission planning experience from his prior positions at Western Area Power Administration and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.  Patrick holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland and a J.D. from Arizona Summit Law School, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys reading and performing science experiments with his three children.
